How can I make a single filter on a Zoho Analytics dashboard simultaneously affect the results of several independent reports?
This question often arises even for those familiar with Zoho's BI tool. It's often necessary to view a single analytics view across completely different data, for example, comparing a transaction report with a lead generation report. By default, the Zoho Analytics dashboard filter only filters clearly related data. If such a relationship isn't specified in the data structure description, only one table (report) is filtered. Without this functionality, comparing two reports would require setting up a separate filter for each, and if there are 10 or 100 such reports... To make life easier for analysts, Zoho Analytics offers the ability to combine similar filters across different reports.
This is very simple to do, but not at all obvious to a beginner.
This video will help you master this simple manipulation.
